Laila Chris Darko

Underworld - Trim

He-he-heat in your skin
Pull up a chair and unwind
Dog we don't share
The taxi left us behind
Silhouette of a psychic reader in the market
And the straw wrapped around a bottle to take home
Barbeque chicken oil in a drum, double strong rum
Here comes the horn you call for
Woman in a box with her head in her box
Speaks french when spoken like a tourist french
Hey classic Coca-Cola in a can when you wanna cool down

Heat, she move up the street in waves
Sugar, sugar, clear your mind leave it all behind
Get in the boat and float
Join in on a high spot and ride, ride
Put on some smile
Stay for a while

Heat, she move up the street in waves
Sugar, sugar, clear your mind leave it all behind
Get in the boat and float
Join in on a high spot and ride, ride
Put on some smile
Stay for a while

Spring has arrived...

...along with it, many pieces of news have arrived as well. I finally got married. It actually happened on the last day of 2011, in Vegas. I started a third major in college: PSYCHOLOGY. It is now my second semester and so far I can say that my favorite courses have been the ones related to Neuroscience. I was released from my psychotherapy after three years of treatment. It was a surprise but I kind of knew this day was close to happen. I have been confident on my Pilates practices. Even impossible stretches have been showing up unbelievably. Oh well, I have been doing it for over a year and a half, so it was about time to see dramatic results. I got to see On The Road movie on the international premier day which never happens to me. Around that time, I was diagnosed with bronchitis and this has been a pain in the neck since then. I began taking acting classes; something I was supposed to start a long time ago. I have been blogging for a teenage site on typical psychological issues for that age.We moved our school to the busiest and most famous avenue of the city. My sister Jennifer flew down here to get to know our new school. My sis Fernanda had her first baby son. Our new place to work is awesome. The place is three times huger, more modern, more stylish, a lot more organized and this was and has been the most important step we have taken since we started our business. I restarted taking medicine for panic syndrome especially because I had a panic crisis this year. It made me weak, it was along with my period and the blood loss added to horrible suffocation, faster heartbeats, and super strong drowsiness... I literally thought I was dying. However, I am reborn. I feel brand-new. Maybe because I am back on track, I have taught lotsa Portuguese classes for foreigners, been taking up Spanish, had my hair cut shorter again and dyed it red again. We adopted a third kitty, named Felino Gracie. He has destroyed my cell phone charger so far. I got a third tattoo on my right arm. It has to be filled in. My writings in Portuguese have improved. I have been into customizing shoes lately. My husband has gotten medals in jiu-jitsu and judo competitions. I had a numerology map done and I've made a new friend Hazel Copcutt. I rediscovered the fact that I can cook and I do it pretty well. There are plenty of news I may have left behind on this post but I did try to keep any possible reader updated. I have not abandoned Pawnshop. I simply have temporarily put it aside because there are way too many issues to be taken care of. Long live spring season with low temperatures and heavy rain. Lastly, I've learned that ocitocine is my best friend.

Vacation and New Kitty in the Block

Is hope a feeling? Hell, yeah.  Is burden a thing? Double hell, yeah. Since vacation started (there is no accurate date when it ...
