Important to share: HOW TO GET MORE SEX
Well, it has been 8 months I don't have any TV of any kind in my apartment. We meant to get rif of it a long time ago. However, when you can still affoard it, you see no pointing in eliminating it. But in my case, yeah, it has been EIGHT MONTHS with no commercials, no stupid news, no knowing about sport which I never knew how to play. My mom trust me once on basketball when I was 7, but I can barely pour coffee in my coffee mug. I could never fit a small ball in a basket. I miss though to know about the weather and the war in Syria and Iran.
Let us not lose the merit of being 240 days without TV. I notice that I started missing some stand-up comedy jokes and some memes would make better sense if I had first seen on TV. Apart from that, my life may have improved, I just don't know in which way. I did clean the house more often and I was not going to mention something so private, but hey, this is my blog. I won't soon be teaching kids and I feel free enough to say that the sex drive is "OMG" 10 thousand times better. People who don't own TV must have more sex (period).
Since the first UFC without TV, I'd thought: "This is not gonna work!" And we endured and felt like fish out of the sea... People will mention HBO series that you are unable to see. But, besides not having TV home, we don't eat sugar or any food processed with sugar as my husband is diabetic; we are vegans, that means we only have plant based food, and my husband is a martial artist, so he trains a lot throughout the day, every single day: Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, and Muai Thai. So he loves watching UFC, and it is freaking expensive to pay perview on every fight. Not having TIVO is the same as not having remote control.I don't think I restarted reading more BOOKS after I gave up on TV. I started paying attention to them. I reorganized them in my house and at work. However, I started reading instructions, manifestos, recipes and things that I would never read from top to bottom. I became more resilient. I am patient with myself so I continued being this patient.
#1)Are you going to keep not having a TV?
Well, if my relatives do not interfere, no TV for the rest of my life.
#2)Would you recommend to try?
You'd have to live secluded like my husband and I. Because you might not have a TV in your homes, but then you like watching that soccer match so much and your brother-in-law has that huge LED TV or you can't live without that soap opera, but you know loves soap operas too and you self-invite to their homes. If you do things things way, you should consider addiction. Think if you are addicted to the news at lunchtime. What are you going to do? You see? It is addiction. We are talking about 1984 inside out. It is scary.
I am getting cleaned up! :)

Road Trip Plan
#1) Don't have a PLAN.
#2) Double the plan.
#3) When you reach the PLAN; you've already reached the PLAN.
#4) Stick with the PLAN.
#5) If you have tuned up the car and gotten a good GPS, you are 1/10 way from starting the PLAN.

Painful truths**
Let yourself be provoked as little as possible during this time, whether in traffic, sport or other "competition", because even if you do not suffer any defeat it may be that your victory is in some way painful.
On the other hand, you should not dodge a psychological challenge, particularly if it is connected with a situation which is so uncomfortable for you that you would normally rather avoid it. If you want to give someone "a piece of your mind" or bring up uncomfortable topics, you will be supported by this influence.
In any case you should not assume that you yourself will get off scot-free: if you launch into others now you will certainly receive a few painful home truths in return - but it is just this that could prove most valuable for you.

Enlightened Self-interest
This time represents the culmination of your efforts to expand the domain of your activities. There is more and more that you want to do, and you resent anything that narrows your freedom and limits your scope of action.
The challenge of this influence is to be conscious Enlightened self-interest enough of yourself and of what you are doing so that you can plan intelligently and work effectively with enlightened self-interest as opposed to pure selfishness. As long as you stay within your own limitations - that is, your inherent limitations as a human being and the limitations of your situation or circumstances - you should be extremely successful.
The sense of timing of your actions may leave others amazed and sure that you are lucky. But really you have succeeded because you have a complete understanding of the situation.

Wie geht's dir? Danke, sehr schlecht
I am tense for being the end of the school year. The tests never end.
I pretend I am relaxed.
I fight against depression.
I walk instead of driving.
Driving is funny to me. Really. Quite amusing.
I am the opposite of what I was or what I believed 20 years ago.
I am tired of being bipolar.
There is enough "bi" in my life.
By the way, I've gotta back to drumming.
I've decided on taking up an MBA.
That is another step in my life.
I am tense for being the end of our school. I need vacation. I need holidays. I need my medication.

Das ist da
The time has come. We have worked for free for too long. The economical crisis is molding our society and the leftists in power are screwing with us all. Companies and stores are closing down and too many people are jobless. Economists predict worse crisis for the next years.
Down at my job, I have been censored, disrespected, judged by my political view, or my teaching methods which have been designed by me because it is my own business. Anyhow, people think just because they pay the school tuition, they can come in and determine our price, the grades, the school plan, the setting, dismiss teachers who they hate... as they owned the place.
I am definitely not a happy teacher in Brazil due to the lack of appreciation in my profession and in my professional skills. I am not sure whether I can put up with it any longer.😓😫😖
Besides making little money, being a teacher or a professor in Brazil can bring us all really down.
For some mysterious reason, authorities are not respected figures down here. The Police are not respected down here. Years of dictatorship (64~85) helped build a negative image of our Brazilian military. Brazilian teachers, for instance, have zero respect from students, their parents, and even from the faculty itself.
I am Brazilian. I come from a line of teachers. I grew up listening to horrible stories of back talks, classroom disrespectful scenes, harassments, name calling, real "slaps on the face" as Brazilian would put it.
I've been an English teacher interruptedly for 21 years. I've gone through much... sometimes more than I can take. I wish I were well treated by having the most beautiful occupation ever.
