B: Ich suche Deutsch Freund fur Fremdsprache lernen. Oder Freundin.

A: achso, ok und du wohnst in brazilien?

B: Ja.

A: wie alt bist du?

B: Ich wohne in Caxias do Sul. Ich bin achtunddreissig Jahre alt. Und du? Und wie alt bist du?

A: das ist aber eine sehr große stadt! ist es dort schön zum leben? ich bin 22.

B: Die Städt is sehr große. Ich kann dein Frag nicht verstehen. I think I got. Es ist sehr schön zum leben. Ich liebe hier. Wir haben Leute von vielen Länder.

A: wenn dir etwas deutsches nicht einfällt, kannst du es auch auf englisch sagen, dass verstehe ich auch. ich lebe in magdeburg. auch eine stadt, aber nicht so groß wie caxias do sul.

B: Ich kann auch Englisch, Spanisch, Portuguiesisch , und Chinese sagen. Ich lerne Deutsch weil das gefällt Mir. Die Städte in Brasilien sind hoffentlich große.  
A: du kannst viele sprachen. das finde ich gut! wir haben neulich in meiner klasse über brasilien und favelas gesprochen. habt ihr die auch in caxias do sul?

B: Es gibt favelas nur in Rio and São Paulo. Sie sind traurige.

A: ja, ich finde das auch sehr traurig. gehst du arbeiten? was machst du so?

B: Ich arbeite. Ich bin Fremdsprachelehrerin von Beruf.
Und du? Arbeitest Du? Ich will Kaffee  trinken. Es ist morgen in Brasilien.

A: deswegen kannst du auch so viele sprachen :) ich bin gerade an einer schule, in der man sein abitur nachholen kann. gelernt habe ich gestalter. ja, wir haben einen zeitunterschied von 5 stunden. bei mir ist es schon nach 12 uhr. ich sollte mir etwas zu essen machen und du dir einen kaffee :)

B: Prima. Wir können nachsprechen.

A: bis bald ;) lass dir deinen kaffee schmecken.

B: Sehr schön mit Dir sprechen.

A: danke, mit dir auch.

B: bis nachher.

My new purple hair, my new hairdresser, and my new favorite beauty salon...

Ingri and I @ Le Parlour front garden 

I can't hold down my smile. I can't hide my teeth anymore. Why? Well, for a few reasons... for a few good reasons... 

For starters, I have recently overcome some bad manic attacks. I feel lighter now. Another reason is that my hair is finally purple, or blue, and the responsible for it is Ingri Castagna, my new hairdresser. In truth, she is also partly responsible for my recovery. She's one of the owners of Le Parlour. 

Le Parlour is the name of this gorgeous beauty place that it took me too long to visit, but now I can say I am in love with it. Ingri's salon is located on Panazzolo neighborhood in Caxias do Sul city, in the  souhthermost state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The parlour is in a sweet pink cottage house with a cozy front yard where Ingri uses the sunlight to snap shots of her clients' hairdos. The decor is shabby chic with lilac walls and upside down tulip-like light fixtures. From the name to the wall arts, I like everything about it.

The first time I had my hair done by Ingri at Le Parlour, I had recently been hospitalized due to manic attacks. She kindly agreed to open her parlour exclusively to me on a Monday, when they usually close. Ingri heard all about my troubles and she lifted me up. She turned my hair black and blue, and that amused me. For this, I am forever thankful. Ingri and her business partner, Barbara, make sure their clients are listened and treated well. If you ever get to know this place, they will promptly offer you some cold bottled water, fresh brewed coffee, or even some chilled white wine, besides getting the best hairdo or that killer eyebrow. It is hard to resist.
